Getting to know Justine Jenkins

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor originally from Mississippi, where I earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University. Since moving to Florida in 2019, I have worked with a diverse population of all ages and multicultural backgrounds, addressing a wide range of mental health issues.

What should a new client know about working with you?

One of the most common challenges we face is reaching out for help. Too often, we suppress or deny our emotions and trauma experiences, believing that we have to process them alone. This suppression can cause adverse symptoms such as anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, and relational or self-destruction. It is my belief that we do not have to continue suffering alone and therapy is a great step towards healing the damage we think can never be undone. Therapy helps create an atmosphere where understanding, change and growth are possible while giving back the power to make our own meaning and purpose in life.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
