Hi there, I'm Kaelyn! Does your mind ever feel like it won’t shut off, constantly worrying, overthinking, and playing out every possible “what if”? Do you feel like you have to be everything for everyone, holding it together even when you're struggling inside? Maybe you second-guess yourself, replay conversations in your head, or feel guilty for putting your own needs first The pressure to be perfect can feel overwhelming, and no matter how hard you try, it never seems like enough If you are stuck in patterns of anxiety, people-pleasing, or self-doubt, you are not alone Let’s quiet your inner critic, set boundaries without guilt, increase self-confidence, and build self-worth that isn’t tied to how much you do for others If you’re ready to start living for you, let’s get started! My approach I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood (and hopefully at times you have fun too!) My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs I integrate insight-oriented therapy with evidence-based techniques to help you navigate anxiety, self-doubt, and overwhelming emotions At the core of my work is a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, meaning I see you as the expert in your own life and meet you with empathy, authenticity, and respect I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation and distress tolerance, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you align your actions with your values, and Parts work to understand and integrate different “parts” of yourself I also incorporate relational and psychodynamic approaches to explore how past experiences shape your current struggles, especially in relationships and self-perception Together, we’ll work to uncover and shift patterns that no longer serve you, helping you build a stronger sense of self-worth and confidence.
