Getting to know Kailey Daniels

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. As a fourth-generation therapist, my work is grounded in both personal experience and clinical training. I hold degrees from Boston University and Alliant International University, and my path to becoming a therapist was shaped by meaningful life transitions that inform the way I support individuals, couples, and teens. I work with couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional connection and address underlying attachment needs. With individuals and adolescents, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem by building insight and practical coping skills. My goal is to help clients create meaningful, lasting change in a supportive and collaborative therapeutic space.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When working with me, you can expect a supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where you feel safe being yourself. Therapy is a partnership, and I value honesty, openness, and active engagement as key components of meaningful progress. My approach is evidence-based and tailored to your individual goals, balancing structure with flexibility. Whether working with individuals, teens, or couples, our work focuses on building self-awareness, developing healthier coping strategies, and creating lasting change. With couples, we emphasize emotional connection and communication; with individuals and adolescents, we focus on understanding thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to support growth that feels practical, authentic, and sustainable.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in safety, trust, and collaboration. Early sessions focus on understanding your concerns, goals, and personal history so we can develop a clear and thoughtful direction for our work together. From there, sessions are structured yet flexible and guided by evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs. With couples, we focus on identifying patterns, strengthening emotional connection, and improving communication. With individuals and teens, we work on increasing self-awareness, addressing unhelpful thought patterns, and building effective coping strategies. Throughout therapy, I regularly check in on progress and adjust our work as needed to support meaningful, lasting change.
