Getting to know Kamaria Bobbitt

I believe that we strive for a deeper connection to others, our surroundings, and most importantly, to ourselves. This is why I focus on helping my clients establish these relationships to find peace and acceptance within themselves and with others. While much of my clinical experience has been working with adolescents and pregnant women, I also have plentiful experience working with adults in middle and late adulthood. The approach and interventions I utilize with my clients are unique to each individual person with whom I am working, incorporating cultural sensitivities and concerns. I am passionate about acknowledging and incorporating diversity in a culturally competent way in treatment, as well as creating a safe, warm, and supportive environment to work in. I'm passionate about my work and genuinely enjoy what I do, which I believe allows me to approach each client with care. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas, San Antonio, which has provided me with a strong foundation to support my commitment to culturally sensitive and individualized care.
