I also offer Biblical counseling and the integration of scripture and Christian faith into the therapeutic process. My approach Many clients have been through some type of disturbance or trauma that has caused them to feel stuck in their growth, development, and happiness. We will look at the beliefs and behaviors that may contribute to this, and determine ways to gain freedom for you in the present and moving forward. Freedom and positive mental health are possible, and clients do it every day! Initially, we will explore what brought you into therapy and begin to determine what you would like to achieve in your growth journey. We will discuss options and make a plan to help you make progress toward your goals. Often, our beliefs affect our emotions and behavior, so a primary focus will be on challenging negative thinking patterns. You will learn skills that help you to improve your life. I support teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, panic attacks, distorted thinking, low self-worth, and the aftermath of difficult life events, including trauma, divorce, and identity shifts.
