My name is Karen Hill-Davis. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families cope with a variety of challenges that life has presented them. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. Through the therapeutic relationship, I will help you recognize your strengths so you can become empowered to effect positive change in your life. My desire has always been to help others help themselves—to assist them in recognizing their strengths and encourage them to create solutions to problems that have been obstacles in their lives.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We will begin by starting where you are in defining the issues and clarifying what your goals will be. We will prioritize what you want to focus on initially. I will work with you to establish goals that are meaningful to you. We'll collaborate in setting goals that are specific, measurable and achievable.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
