"Hello, I'm Karen Poyser-Navratil. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping my clients achieve their best selves. With a PhD in Mind-Body Medicine specializing in Integrative Mental Health from Saybrook University, and a Master's degree in Social Work from Barry University, my educational background is both diverse and comprehensive. I also hold a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Additionally, I am certified as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and an Integrative Wellness Coach, which allows me to offer a holistic approach to mental health care. Over the past seventeen years, I've had the privilege of working in various clinical settings, including crisis intervention, outpatient programs, and medical social work. I am the founder and primary therapist of The Integrative Healing Space, where I focus on helping women of color who are dealing with inner child wounding, trauma, inadequate boundaries, and poor self-image that often lead to depression and anxiety. My approach to therapy is integrative and faith-based, primarily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and biblical principles. I believe in the power of combining traditional therapeutic techniques with holistic modalities such as meditation and breathwork to support my clients on their journey to feeling happier, whole, and empowered. Working with me means embarking on a collaborative journey where your unique experiences and needs are at the forefront. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a stronger sense of self.
