Getting to know Kascey Ifill
Hello, I'm Kascey Ifill, a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor and Master Addiction Counselor. I also hold the title of Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. My journey in the field of mental health began with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, which led me to start my career as a Counselor in the prison system. This unique experience laid a strong foundation for my understanding of human behavior and the complexities of mental health. I later earned a Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology, and for the past 20 years, I've had the privilege of working as a therapist in various settings.
Throughout my career, I've gained extensive experience in facilitating individual counseling as well as addictions counseling, both in groups and individually. My specialties include working with individuals dealing with trauma, a history of abuse, addiction, anger management, anxiety, and worry. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques to help my clients manage anxiety, worry, and depression.
In addition to these areas, I also provide support for individuals experiencing difficulties in their intimate or romantic relationships. Whether you're working toward a healthier, more trusting, and loving relationship with a significant other or a family member, I'm here to help you navigate those challenges.
My approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person has the capacity for change and growth. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
