I'm Kate Hutchens, a LICSW with over 20 years of experience. As a lesbian-identifying therapist, I have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of challenges. My priority is to create a safe, affirming space where clients can find support, understanding, healing, and personal growth. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Boston University, and I practice an integrative therapeutic approach that draws from person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, feminist, and humanistic theories. I believe in a flexible, collaborative approach that honors each client's unique needs and lived experiences. I view therapy as a place of exploration, learning, & growth to reconnect with parts of oneself that may be struggling. This is your journey. My role is to honor it, bear witness, & gently guide you along the way, empowering you to do the meaningful work of change & healing.
