Hi there, I'm Kate! I am a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, Army Veteran, and mother of two amazing kids. Life's journey can be both beuatiful and humbling and I am honored to help each of my clients find their way back to the joy and beauty of their lives. My focus My clients are exceptional people who are doing their best trying to do life on life's terms but feel weighed down by stress, past experiences, or patterns that keep getting in the way of feeling truly well. I’m passionate about working with individuals of all ages, identities, cultures, and backgrounds. My approach I am a Person Centered Therapist who relies heavily on CBT, DBT, MI and Attachment Theory interventions with my clients as a means of assisting them to explore, process and cope with unresolved trauma, dysfuntional thoughts, and life stress that impact their wellbeing and self-concept; allowing my clients to redefine their lives with acceoptance. My communication style My communication style is very person centered. I see myself as a guide on your jouney with you being the expert of you! I am here to help you notice patterns through reflection of your story and then identify and implment new ways to think and walk through your life that will best honor and serve your overall wellbeing. My journey to mental healthcare Previous to becoming a therapist, I had been an active duty Army officer, CrossFit Coach, and Corporate Recruiter; the common thread in all of these is a passion for mentoring, guiding and helping others to find their path and realize their healthiest and happiest versions of themselves. Becoming a therapist has never felt like a job, but a passion My goals for you I help my clients reach their goals by first having them identify the core problem areas and issues they would like to focus us as a means of improving major life areas.
