Hi there, I'm Katherine! I help hardworking, self‑critical people who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, people‑pleasing, and relationship stress. They expect so much out of themselves, yet don't feel like they are enough. If you’re tired of feeling stuck and ready for real change, I’ll support you in building confidence, emotional balance, and a life that feels more aligned. My focus I enjoy working with clients that are struggling with anxiety, life changes, low self esteem, overextended, overwhelmed, and/or difficulty managing stress. Together, we’ll build coping skills and create a personalized plan for growth that works with your unique strengths and journey. My approach I use a combination of several therapy modalities, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thoughts and/or behaviors. My approach is supportive and collaborative, while also giving you tools to help support your mental health journey. My communication style I prioritize clear and open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I want clients to be themselves in therapy, and not filtering what they say. Our time together in session is about the client, and what they need to say. I provide active listening, support, and occasionally some humor when appropriate. My journey to mental healthcare My work with adults facing severe and persistent mental illness taught me the importance of meeting clients where they are. I provide a nonjudgmental space and individualized care. My experience leading anger, parenting, and substance use groups reinforced that anger, and other symptoms, is natural—what matters is how we respond to it. My goals for you I see therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s improving relationships, building self-esteem, or pursuing personal growth.
