In these roles, she developed and implemented EAP initiatives and conducted operational analysis for pre- and post-deployment health assessments. She has also maintained a private practice, Awaken Wellness Center, where her clinical focus includes crisis intervention, trauma, loss and grief counseling, deployment-related mental health issues, and the assessment and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder. Katherine's expert knowledge of military culture and lifestyle, both professionally and personally, fuels her dedication to advancing best-in-class mental health practices for military members, their families, and returning veterans.
