“I enjoy being with this provider. The best one I have had in online therapy. It seems like she really listens to my concerns and gets my mind to work for the better. I would like more time in sessions, but that is something I cannot do with budget.”

Getting to know Kathleen Fraser

Hello, I'm Katy. Everyone has periods of difficulty that can cause a range of feelings including anxiety, depression, or even anger. I believe that we all inherently have the ability to address the problems we face, but sometimes we have a hard time accessing those tools. My goal is to help individuals discover their strengths and develop strategies to better manage their life circumstances and emotions. I graduated from the University of New England in 2015 with a Master's degree in Social Work, and I am currently a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S) in the state of Ohio. I have worked in a correctional setting for the past two years, and prior to that, I was a medical social worker and care coordinator. My work has focused on assisting adults who are experiencing life transitions and helping them to effectively manage these changes while maintaining an overall sense of well-being. I partner with my clients in a strengths-based and solution-focused approach to therapy that helps individuals discover the strengths that will help them to navigate hard times. Every person is the expert on their own lives. Through exploring the strengths you already have, we will work together to develop tools that will empower you to more effectively manage difficult situations or feelings. I work to create a safe, judgment-free space for all clients to explore their strengths and difficulties in order to think differently about how these strengths can be applied to the problems that they may deal with, now and in the future. I specialize in working with family relationships, life transitions, medical issues, perinatal support, intimate relationships, stress, anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, addiction, antisocial behavior, bipolar disorder, military/veteran support, grief, LGBTQIA+ support, multicultural issues, OCD, PTSD, sex/intimacy issues, learning disorders, suicidal ideation, and ADHD. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or just need someone to talk to, I'm here to help. Let's work together to uncover your strengths and develop the strategies you need to thrive. Reach out today, and let's start this journey together.
