My name is Kathleen Jump. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I received a Bachelors degree in Social Work and Spanish from Brigham Young University in 2003. I received Masters of Social Work with a Mental Health focus from the University of Cincinnati in 2005. I have worked in the field of Social Work since 2005 supporting children, adults and families. I work from a Strength's Perspective that empowers you as the client to identify and apply your strengths to achieve your goals through resilience and courage. I use Systems theory to understand you as an individual that is part of a complex system, which includes your family, community, school, culture and more. Through the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Informed theory, I will work to help you accomplish your goals and better understand yourself to both heal and thrive in your environment. As a mental health specialist, I work to help you as the client recognize and heal from trauma, resist re-traumatization and feel empowered in your life. I look forward to working with you!
