Getting to know Kathy Duc Le

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Supervisor Status (LCSW-S) through the TXBHEC. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Texas State University and my Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University. My experience as both a medical social worker and mental health clinician in inpatient and outpatient settings has given me the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals facing various challenges. Through these experiences, I have gained deep insight into the resilience, strength, and potential within people. Raised in a culture that taught me to suppress emotion, I deeply understand the struggle of finding one’s authentic voice. Because of that, I’m passionate about creating a space where emotions are welcomed and healing is possible. From an early age, I was driven by a desire to motivate, empower, and alleviate the suffering of those around me. It was in college that I discovered I could turn this passion into a career as a clinical social worker. I believe that everyone has the strength and ability to make empowered choices. My goal is to guide you in understanding and overcoming both deeply rooted issues and the everyday challenges of life. I specialize in guiding individuals through the complexities of trauma recovery, living with infertility, life coaching, and finding their authentic voice, while also providing comprehensive support for other mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and living with ADHD. As a therapist, I am deeply committed to supporting the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities, offering mental health care that is culturally aware, inclusive, and focused on meeting the unique needs of these individuals. Using an approach based on client-centered care, inclusiveness, and grounded in evidence-based practices, I work with you to change unproductive thought patterns, shift your narrative, and help you reach your personal and professional goals, ultimately enhancing your overall well-being.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often leave our sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, renewed confidence in their ability to make empowered choices, and practical tools to reshape unhelpful thought patterns and take charge of their mental wellness. Ultimately, I want clients to walk away feeling supported, more connected to their true selves, and equipped with the insight and strategies needed to thrive—both personally and professionally.
