Getting to know Kathy Jaffe

Are you tired of the non-stop chatter in your head judging every move you make? Is the constant loop of negative thinking making you feel like you are not good enough? No matter how many times you try to talk yourself out of this—you just can't seem to shake it. You are doing all the things you’ve been told to do, and yet something is missing. You feel alone. You feel misunderstood. You feel anxious. You turn to food, alcohol, Netflix, or whatever else can make these feelings go away. You promise yourself that next week will be different. You will start the new diet or the new program; you will commit to being a new you. What if there is another way? I work with women to help end this cycle. There can be freedom from the despair caused by believing that you are not good enough. You want a deeper connection in your relationships. You want more joy in your life. You want less stress and worry. I can help you get there. There is a different path. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino, and I am dedicated to guiding you toward healing and growth with compassion and understanding. Together, we can find the freedom and fulfillment you deserve.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is based on neuroscience and delivered with heart. I bring my full presence to our sessions to help create a space that allows for your system to heal and find integration using mind-body connections. We will explore your hopes and goals for your life and begin to uncover the things that have been blocking that. Our work together will help you feel less alone in this process and will teach you skills that you can practice between sessions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
