Do you often feel like stress is taking a toll on your day-to-day life? Are you working through a medical diagnosis, a relationship challenge, or a loss or change? Are you trying to adapt to a new normal? No one should have to navigate these life challenges alone. Often, we expect ourselves to just "snap out of it" or "adjust." In reality, life stressors can pile up and make us feel unlike ourselves. What we might be missing is an objective person to help us talk through these stressors so we can figure out what we need to do to feel better. I believe you are the expert in your life experiences, and my role is to support and guide you as you navigate them. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from Florida State University and 17 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families facing life's challenges head-on. I have worked in mental health settings, hospitals, and outpatient clinics, with experience in Oncology and Memory Disorders as well. I enjoy helping clients process their experiences and recognize their strengths. Together, we can work to find solutions and develop coping skills that are helpful now and in the future. Most importantly, I will offer you a safe space to discuss these challenges.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In our first session we will discuss your concerns and goals for treatment. Each session we may discuss coping skills and possible solutions that may work for you. In some sessions, the most important piece I can provide you with is as safe place to share your feelings with an active listener. And validation that what you are experiencing is hard to deal with!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
