Psychotherapist
CA
Each client's needs are different. I work from a client-centered and humanistic approach, which allows me to personalize treatment to suit each individual by implementing and utilizing approaches tailored to meet their needs rather than adhering to a specific therapeutic modality. I work from a strength-based orientation, drawing on past and current skills as well as helping clients gain new ones to overcome life challenges, improve their quality of life, and achieve their goals. I work with clients who have diagnoses across the board, ranging from substance use and autism to schizophrenia. My specialty is working with a variety of individuals and assisting them in accessing the resources and tools available to them, implementing these in a manner that is meaningful in their daily lives. Having a space to express yourself or explore your concerns, worries, or troubles is something we should all have. I honor the therapeutic relationship and believe it is the foundation for helping clients. I invite you to allow me to hold that space for you and join you on your journey of healing. I hold a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Saybrook University; a master's degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Global; and both a master's degree in Anthropology and a bachelor's degree from the University of Idaho.
