Katrina Kurtz, LCPC

Katrina Kurtz, LCPC

Psychotherapist
IL
I hold a dual degree from Adler University, earning a Master's in Counseling and Art Therapy, and I am both a Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I work with clients to express themselves not only verbally but also creatively. I believe in meeting each client where they are and using the most effective treatment modality to help you achieve your personal goals. Art therapy is a powerful tool to help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and no previous art experience is necessary. I do not interpret art but instead ask questions to encourage reflection on the images you create. I also incorporate response art in treatment to promote self-reflection and awareness. With 12 years of experience, I provide talk therapy as well for those who prefer it over art therapy. I specialize in supporting people through life adjustments and transitions, work-life balance, and self-esteem and self-awareness work. If you are interested in creating a happier, healthier life, I am currently accepting new clients and look forward to meeting you and working together!

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
