Hi there, I'm Keisha! My name is Keisha Lord, and I am the founder of Magnolia Family Therapy and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 12 years of experience treating children, adults, and families to overcome life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University. My passion is to work with individuals and families to help overcome emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties. My approach My approach to therapy is client-centered and strength-based, meeting you where you are with empathy, compassion, and respect to help you identify your strengths, making the process as helpful and meaningful as possible. I also use evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help monitor progress and ensure growth. My focus I offer therapy to individuals 18 and older. I am available to address relational and family problems, as well as issues such as depression, anxiety, emotional abuse, trauma, separation and divorce, parenting challenges, women’s issues, spiritual concerns, self-esteem, and blended or extended family dynamics. My communication style I am known for my gentle spirit, calm demeanor, and listening ear. Therapy sessions are a safe space where my clients feel comfortable expressing themselves freely.
