Getting to know Keith Overstreet

Hello, My name is Keith, and I have been working with youth and adolescents in the mental health field for about thirteen years. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I have worked with young people suffering from traumatic experiences (PTSD), including physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. I have assisted youth with symptoms associated with depression and anxiety, as well as self-esteem and self-worth issues. Additionally, I have helped young people who are suicidal and those experiencing psychotic disorders. I have also supported youth dealing with tension within the home setting, helping them navigate these feelings in a healthy manner. Personally, I have two daughters who are my world and a very spoiled elderly dog. I enjoy sports, working out, and being outdoors. I have been described as very easygoing and easy to talk to. In my practice, the client comes first, and the conversation goes where he or she would like it to.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During the first session, a client can expect time getting to know one another and working to make the client feel comfortable within the counseling setting. Moving forward we will work on a plan of the client's needs and working on strategies to assist those needs. Within reasonable intervals I will have discussions with the client to see where he or she is in the counseling experience and if the client has any further needs that I may not be able to assist.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
