Getting to know Kelli Hayes

After about twenty years serving in community-focused nonprofit settings with ethnically diverse people, I was inspired to move into social work. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2019 with a master’s degree in Social Work. Serving couples, families, children, and adults of all ages and in various clinical settings since 2017 has provided some of the richest life experiences that have shaped my practice as a seasoned provider, treating symptoms such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and many more. As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), I utilize a variety of scientifically based approaches, including certification in trauma-focused modalities such as DBT and EMDR. I believe in integrative and holistic approaches using cognitive as well as body-based interventions to treat the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. I believe that in areas where you feel stuck, it is possible to heal and to thrive. I believe in the capacity for positive change, and that a felt sense of reconnection with yourself and others is possible. With great humility, I know how transformational healing can be, even when at times it may seem hopeless.
