Hi, I'm Kellie. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento, and a Bachelor's degree from Sonoma State University. I am passionate about helping others work through life challenges. My approach is non-judgmental and empathetic, meeting clients where they are. Building rapport and trust is essential to a good therapeutic relationship. I have many years of clinical experience working with individuals and families experiencing a wide range of life events. I like to provide homework to my clients as appropriate to encourage progress outside of sessions. I also have experience in crisis intervention. I utilize CBT, mindfulness skills, solution-focused, and client-centered therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I create a safe, non-judgmental space for you to feel comfortable. I assign homework as needed. My focus is about meeting you where your needs are. Creating awareness to our thoughts and feelings and understanding the difference is important.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
