Hi there, I'm Kelly! Life is hard. It has its ups and downs. Sometimes life throws things at us that affect our mood, our relationships, or our sense of self. Whatever you are struggling with, whether that is depression, trauma, new life changes, anxiety, substance use, self-esteem, or overall stress, I am here to walk along beside you in your journey of healing. My focus I support adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed by trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or low self-esteem. If past experiences or unhealthy patterns are keeping you stuck, we’ll work together to build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and create healthier ways of moving forward. My approach Every person is unique so I mold my approach to best meet your goals and personality. My therapeutic approach consists of a mixture of evidence based practices including but not limited to; Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My communication style My communication style is warm, non-judgmental, and open-minded. My goal is to create a safe space for you to feel comfortable sharing your story with me. My journey to mental healthcare Since I was a teenager, I always knew that I wanted to help others who stuggle with mental health. This path led me to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and since 2009 I have worked with teens and adults to help them heal, grow, and become the best version of themselves. My goals for you I help clients identify what they want to change and turn those needs into realistic, meaningful goals. Together, we break each goal into manageable steps, practice helpful strategies in and outside of sessions, and regularly review progress. We adjust the plan as needed while recognizing growth along the way.
