“Kelly has been amazing working with my son. It's not always easy keeping the attention of a 10-year-old ADHD boy but they really do connect, and he always has something positive to share after their conversations. She respects his privacy and always asks her permission about something before communicating with me (even if it's just to get a better insight on something from an adult perspective). We really enjoy working with Kelly!”

Getting to know Kelly Kavanagh

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a Master’s in Social Work from Dominican University and over 13 years of experience in the mental health and behavioral health field. I enjoy working with teens, adults, and families across a wide range of ages. My goal is to help you develop the skills and tools to manage your current stressors or concerns, both during our sessions and in your daily life. I like to use humor and be authentic and genuine throughout the therapy process, which clients have said they appreciate and that helps them feel comfortable. I look forward to working with you to take back control of your mental health and become the best version of yourself.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in working with your strengths and weaknesses to be the happiest and healthiest version of you. So by better understanding your stressors, triggers and symptoms together we can work to take back control of your mental health and quality of life.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
