Getting to know Kelly Muldoon

Hi there, I'm Kelly! Hello! Im Kelly Muldoon, a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and licensed clinical professional art therapist (LCPAT), as well as a nationally registered and board-certified art therapist (ATR-BC). I earned my Masters in Art Therapy from The George Washington University. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, integrating various techniques to best meet each client's unique needs. I prioritize a person-centered, strengths-based framework, fostering a collaborative space where clients explore their inner world, reflect, and problem-solve. My goal is to empower clients to make meaningful changes, helping them become their best selves. My approach When I first meet a client, I view them as a whole personacknowledging strengths, challenges, relationships, personal history, family dynamics, traumas, and attachment patterns. I consider all these aspects to collaboratively develop a tailored treatment plan supporting their unique goals and well-being. I draw from various therapeutic approaches to best suit each clients needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Existential Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. My focus I specialize in working with individuals ages 12 and up, focusing on those navigating anxiety, depression, infertility, grief and loss, trauma, sexual assault, abuse, and major life transitions. I also have experience helping individuals with mood and personality disorders, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, body image concerns, stress management, and autism spectrum-related difficulties. My approach is compassionate and tailored to support those facing complex issues, helping them move toward healing and growth.
