I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington, and a Bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University. I have been in practice for nearly six years, including four years in inpatient psychiatry, so I am well-versed in working with clients with a wide range of symptoms and diagnoses. I take a holistic, individualized approach with each client. Anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and mood disorders can all see symptom improvement with therapy. I utilize solution-focused therapy tenets, mindfulness education, and provide information on developing coping skills that work! I will work with you to establish your personal goals for therapy and, in a collaborative effort, work toward mood stabilization, self-improvement, and improved self-worth, focusing on your unique strengths and resiliency.
