Maybe you are doing your best to keep up, but lately everything feels like a lot. You might be overthinking conversations, worrying about disappointing others, struggling to manage big emotions, or feeling like you are never quite doing enough. Whether you are navigating school, work, relationships, or simply trying to figure out who you are, it is common to feel anxious, frustrated, or stuck. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) dedicated to providing a supportive, collaborative, and down-to-earth space for kids, teens, and adults. Drawing on my background, my approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered, tailored to honor each individual's unique needs, personality, and goals. In addition to counseling, my professional background gives me a unique understanding of workplace stress, burnout, career transitions, and the daily challenge of balancing professional and personal life. Together, we will slow things down, understand what is beneath the surface, identify behavioral patterns, and build practical, everyday tools for managing emotions, setting boundaries, communicating your needs, and boosting your confidence. You do not have to have everything figured out before starting therapy; my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and genuinely accepted just as you are.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that therapy with me is a collaborative, judgment-free zone where you can show up exactly as you are. You don't have to worry about saying the "right" thing or having your life completely figured out before you walk through the door (or log on). I believe in meeting you right where you are in life. Our work together focuses on creating a comfortable pace where we can unpack stress, untangle overwhelming emotions, and celebrate your strengths. My goal is for you to leave sessions with a deeper understanding of yourself, renewed self-compassion, and practical tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life to handle whatever comes your way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel completely heard and valued. Initial Sessions & Goal Setting: In our first few sessions, we will focus on getting to know each other, discussing what brought you in, and exploring what you hope to achieve through therapy. We'll look at the big picture—including your strengths, current stressors, and life context. Exploration & Insight: Together, we will explore what’s happening beneath the surface, identifying patterns, emotional responses, or relational dynamics that may be keeping you feeling stuck. Skill Building & Growth: Using evidence-based and person-centered strategies, we will work collaboratively to develop realistic, practical coping mechanisms, boundary-setting strategies, and stress-management tools tailored specifically to your lifestyle and personality. Ongoing Support: Therapy moves at a pace that feels safe and sustainable for you, empowering you to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience long after our sessions end.
