Getting to know Kenya Pace
I am the wife of a retired combat veteran and a mother to four beautiful children. I understand the complexities of being separated from your spouse for extended periods and feeling alone in the relationship while raising children. Even the most well-prepared and successful person can find themselves wondering how things became so complicated, messy, or challenging, and feel at a loss when it comes to putting the pieces back together. People are shaped and molded by their past experiences, both good and bad. Often, they feel drawn to focus on the bad experiences, leading to pain and struggles of many kinds. With a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, I am committed to helping individuals navigate these challenges and find healing and hope.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients can expect to gain several benefits from therapy sessions with me. They may experience increased self-awareness, emotional regulation, and improved coping skills. Clients can also expect to gain insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, which can help them make positive changes in their lives. I will also provide a safe and supportive space for my clients to express themselves and work through challenges, leading to personal growth and a better understanding of themselves.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
