Or that the weight of the world is on your shoulders, and your friends and family don't understand what you're going through? Seeking therapy can be the right step to help change your outlook on life. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) for over 5 years and am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with more than 20 years of experience working with clients facing a variety of disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and career challenges. What should a new client know about working with you?

The first session will serve as an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to share the concerns that you're experiencing. This session will also allow me to learn more about you and develop a plan to help you achieve the goals you're expecting from therapy. The follow-up sessions will be to determine the effectiveness of the plans we agree upon and what is working and what is not. There will be homework for you to that is based on the concerns that brought you to therapy.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
