Getting to know Ketty Augustin
I am Ketty, a licensed clinical therapist and a Black female, first-generation American of Caribbean descent—if you know, you know. I am here for all your stories because they deserve to be heard, and you deserve to be seen. In the last few years, I have had the opportunity to practice in diverse settings and at various levels of care, and I have found myself most at home and energized supporting clients on their journey to self-discovery. I have firsthand experience with the challenges and added barriers one may encounter simply existing as a person of color: at work, at school, and at home. From generations of unresolved trauma to attachment ruptures, dysfunctional family dynamics, and endless systemic challenges, there needs to be a safe space for healing. This is why this work is important: to break harmful cycles and ensure your pain is no longer overlooked or ignored simply because "you are strong."
Glow Up came from my passion to educate, heal, and empower others to embrace their whole life story. It is an opportunity to refine the values and boundaries that allow you to experience the beauty of relationships on your terms and to reconcile painful experiences and devastating memories into intentional, purposeful, and "whole" living.
I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Using a trauma-informed approach, as well as attachment-based and emotion-focused interventions, we work together to identify your needs and goals and develop a personalized treatment plan that works for you. I am committed to providing you with the space to heal and thrive, to make use of humor and compassion, and to remain authentic and present every step of the way.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
