Psychotherapist
TX
I'm a therapist-philosopher who helps thoughtful, sensitive individuals navigate anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, people-pleasing, and a deeper sense of feeling lost or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside, but inside they’re overwhelmed, depleted, or struggling to feel truly at peace. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone—and you're in the right place. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montana, which grounds my work in both clinical expertise and compassionate care. My approach is rooted in presence, compassion, and a deep respect for the complexity of being human. I don’t see therapy as a way to “fix” you, because I don’t believe you’re broken. Instead, I view therapy as a space to come home to yourself—by exploring what’s painful, what’s been suppressed or ignored, and what’s ready to be healed and integrated. I bring a unique blend of mindfulness, somatic awareness, and philosophical insight to my practice. I'm especially interested in how we make meaning out of our experiences and how healing unfolds when we allow ourselves to slow down, feel, and reconnect. Clients often come to me when they’re tired of surface-level strategies and are seeking something deeper. They want a space to be real, to be seen, and to explore the patterns that have been quietly shaping their lives. They’re ready for lasting change—not just symptom management, but transformation from the inside out. If you're ready to stop running from yourself and start living more fully and authentically, I’d be honored to walk that path with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I’m not here to judge you or tell you what to do—I’m here to help you listen more deeply to yourself and uncover what’s true and needed. I’ll bring curiosity, presence, and compassion to our work, and I’ll invite you to do the same. I’m gentle in my approach but not passive. I’ll ask meaningful questions, reflect what I notice, and challenge you when it feels supportive. Clients often say they feel safe, seen, and relieved not to have to pretend or perform. I hold space for all of you: the messy, the confused, the hopeful, and the hurting. I believe that therapy works best when it’s a real relationship—one built on mutual respect, honesty, and shared intention. You don’t have to be perfect or have it all figured out to begin. I welcome your uncertainty, your fear, your resistance—and your desire for something more. This is a space where you can slow down, explore what’s going on beneath the surface, and begin to shift long-held patterns in a way that’s sustainable and authentic. We’ll go at your pace, and I’ll always check in with you about how things feel. Above all, I care deeply about your experience—and I want you to leave each session feeling just a little more connected to yourself than when you arrived.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first few sessions will be about getting to know you—your history, your present struggles, and what you're hoping to shift or understand. You don’t need to come in with a polished narrative. I’ll guide the process in a way that feels spacious and supportive, helping you feel more grounded in your story and your goals. As we move forward, our sessions will be a collaborative mix of exploration, reflection, and gentle challenge. I may help you notice what’s happening in your body, guide you toward mindfulness practices, or invite you to connect with parts of yourself that have been hidden or rejected. You’ll never be pushed, but you will be invited to go deeper—because that’s often where healing lives. Over time, we’ll identify patterns that keep you stuck and explore the emotional roots beneath them. We’ll bring awareness and compassion to these places, not to force change but to allow it. My hope is that you’ll begin to feel more choice, more aliveness, and more clarity about who you are and what you need. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level advice—it’s about building a deeper, more trusting relationship with yourself. I’ll walk with you through the uncertainty and celebrate with you as you begin to experience the shifts that come from living more fully, more honestly, and more freely.
