You've already taken a courageous step by acknowledging these struggles, and I want you to know that deep transformation is possible. Instead of just talking about your thoughts or feelings, working together will involve your whole self – your mind, emotions, and body. What should a new client know about working with you?

My work focuses on nurturing the parts of you that you've rejected or judged, while gently challenging you to trust and grow. I provide a compassionate, loving space where we can bring awareness to your body's sensations, hold space for your emotions, and unravel the false beliefs that are holding you back from living a more rich, authentic life. I understand the vulnerability that arises when you trust someone to support you on this journey. You are the expert on yourself, and I prioritize humility, transparency, and responsiveness to your feedback in our therapeutic relationship. If you're ready to make big changes through small, tender steps, I would be honored to walk by your side.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I know how nerve-wracking it can be to start therapy with someone new. When we first begin, I just want to get to know you better and understand exactly why you are seeking out therapy. I seek to develop a collaborative relationship that is centered on your individual needs for safety, validation, and support. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and what you truly need, and my role is to support you in discovering that innate wisdom. From there, I will explain the outline of some of my therapeutic values and frameworks and we can begin to explore how I can best tailor my approach to you. Together, we will start to explore what indicators we can use to assess whether our time together is effective. We will refer to these touchpoints throughout your counseling to ensure that our time together is meeting your needs.
