I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from San Diego State University and a strong commitment to helping individuals achieve emotional wellbeing. Over the past 17 years, I have specialized in supporting clients through life transitions, trauma recovery, substance abuse treatment, and mental health challenges. With extensive experience in both private practice and community settings, I bring empathy, evidence-based practices, and a client-centered approach to each session. My approach I bring a diverse set of therapeutic skills including dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, problem-solving therapy, and client-centered approaches. I have experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, panic, complex childhood trauma (developmental trauma), co-occurring substance use disorders, marital discord, life transitions, suicidal ideations, self-harm, and cluster B personality disorders. I find that my ability to build quick rapport with my clients helps to create a strong foundation of mutual understanding, safety, and trust.
