Getting to know Kimberly Felder
I am a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8 years of experience helping individuals navigate the complexities of their emotional and psychological well-being. I earned my Master's in Social Work from Barry University, which laid the foundation for my commitment to providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.
I began my work in the trauma field while interning at a domestic violence shelter and have since held positions involving crisis work, case management, group facilitation, and therapy. I have worked with children, individual adults, and families, assisting in facilitating family meetings, therapeutic treatment groups, and providing community-based services for people impacted by trauma. My experience spans a variety of settings and diverse clients, including both long- and short-term interventions. Currently, I work in Montgomery County Public Schools as a School Social Worker, supporting students with disabilities.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
