Hi there, I'm Kimberly! Hello, I am Kimberly Hairston, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Southern California. I have a 20-year career in behavioral health providing individual therapy to adults. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University Long Beach, which deepened my commitment to mental health services. My approach My approach to therapy is strength-based and solution-focused. I believe you are the expert of your story and have many strengths to overcome challenges. It takes courage to seek help, and I support and empower that journey using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. My focus I work with adults 18 and up. I have experience helping clients with relationship issues, grief and loss, career difficulties, depression, and anxiety. I am passionate about supporting women with postpartum challenges and new parents navigating family growth. I also have experience with foster care and adoption-related concerns. My journey to mental healthcare I was fortunate to be mentored by a relative who was an excellent child therapist. Observing her career motivated me to pursue a Bachelor's and then a Master's in Social Work with an emphasis on Mental Health Services.
