EMDR is a special therapy to assist in trauma that is an additional therapy tool we may use. My communication style Kim is a very compassionate and humble therapist. I had not only some childhood trauma that I had to learn to cope with but also marital issues as well. I have worked on people-pleasing and realizing how to be the real me. Life is not easy, and we all have things we can work on. My goals for you As a therapist, we will discuss treatment planning at the first session. Then, as we progress in therapy, we can adjust those if needed. My first session with you In the first session, I want to get to know you. I want to hear what brought you into therapy and your goals. We will look at some possible past and current factors that could be affecting your current situation.
