My name is Kim, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Addictions Professional. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Troy University. I have more than two decades of experience helping clients with anger management, anxiety, substance abuse, depression, problem-solving, decision-making, vocation, parenting, opposition/conduct, and ADHD. Additionally, I have over 15 years of experience assessing and working with families involved in the dependency system. I also have extensive experience working with teens. I love mixing talk therapy with cognitive behavioral approaches and have found significant success with the person-centered approach, during which I afford every client a safe and empathetic space.
