Kimberly Western, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have invested in education training as a graduate professor for the past 11 years, helping graduate students move efficiently through their education into their careers. In addition to currently serving as an adjunct faculty member for Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, I also held the title of Lead Faculty and Faculty Advisor for the University of Phoenix, providing expertise in clinical supervision, assessment, and treatment planning. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues providing services that span from therapy for depression and grief counseling to deep family work, couples therapy, and beyond. I offer a holistic personalized approach, tailored to each client’s individual needs. Clinically, I work from an integrative/holistic perspective, which involves, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness–based therapies. I am a therapist at Octave, a behavioral health practice creating a new standard for mental health care that’s both high-quality and accessible.
