My name is Kimberly Yantuche-Hernandez, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I specialize in anxiety, panic attacks, mood disorders, stress, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, anger and impulse control, relationship problems, and self-esteem issues by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Managing and Adaptive Practice (MAP), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and play therapy. I earned my Master's in Social Work from California State University, Dominguez Hills. I have always had a passion for helping others. My journey has included advocating for others, volunteering in schools and the community, interning as a graduate student, and working at non-profits serving underserved, unrepresented minority populations. A great part of my life has been supporting and uplifting those around me to see their capacity to strive, persevere, and achieve. I feel I have aligned myself toward a career that gives me the opportunity to continue to help, advocate, and serve those in need of support.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In your first session you can expect that will review informed consent about your treatment, confidentiality and limits and exceptions to confidentiality, completing an assessment by exploring what has brought you into therapy, current life stressors, symptoms behaviors you are struggling with, coping abilities, and your goals. We will spend time getting to know each other and building rapport, and setting a foundation for a healthy therapeutic relationship.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge.
