Hi there, I'm Kira! These complicated and stressful times can take a toll on our relationships with others and with ourselves. How we relate to ourselves, loved ones, and our community during times of stress and transition can be a challenge and can define whether we feel safe and/or satisfied with our lives. It can determine how well we function in the world and whether we thrive. Relationships can feel disconnected, big transitions can leave you reeling, or grief and anxiety often show up like uninvited guests. In our work together, we’ll explore not just what’s happening to you, but how you’re experiencing it and how it's affecting your ability to function. Healing begins in the present moment in the therapy room when a client is met with curiosity, not judgment. My approach As a relational Gestalt therapist, I help individuals and couples navigate relationship struggles, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. Through our relationship as therapist and client, we will develop tools and strategies for navigating your challenges. Together, we’ll slow things down, get curious, and gently uncover what’s beneath the surface. We will work toward increasing your awareness and resiliency. We can make a change if that's what you want and need, but we can also work towards understanding what we cannot control and grow in acceptance. My focus I offer Relational Gestalt Therapy for entertainment professionals, writers, artists, storytellers, and creatives, as well as the general public. We’ll explore what’s happening in your inner world, your relationships, and your career—so you'll be supported in finding clarity, building resilience, and discovering a deeper sense of connection to yourself and others. My communication style I have a warm, collaborative style. Therapy with me is real, not robotic. It will be an interactive experience between two people, not a client monologue with the therapist silently nodding and listening.
