Hi, I'm Dr. Kisha Bashkiharatee. I earned my Master's in Clinical Counseling from Loma Linda University, and my PhD is in Family Studies. I have loved being part of the mental health field since I took my first psychology class in high school. Although it was challenging to find counseling jobs early on, I decided to continue my education. At each level, I have learned more about myself and become more grounded in my field. Sometimes in life, it feels like we are heading to a destination without having the whole road map. It can be scary, confusing, and lonely. I want to support individuals in finding the tools to help navigate, redirect, and reorient their lives, and I would be greatly honored to be a part of your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

The first step in any therapeutic relationship is meeting you where you are. I simply want to help you by creating a safe space for you to explore who you are and who you want to be. The next steps vary, but we can face those fears, doubts, and traumas together.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
