Getting to know Klara Choi

I believe that everyone has the inner resources within them to heal, and this is what guides my clinical practice. Given my lived experience as an Asian American, I am passionate about culturally informed care. I strive to get to know my clients and what is important and central to their identity. I aim to create a safe environment for each client so that healing and growth can occur. I have experience working with individuals who are suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and other conditions. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, and I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. I believe in the mind-body connection and use somatic therapy with clients as well as CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy.
