This may look like relationships characterized by high conflict or codependency; periods of intense self-shaming or negative self-talk; emotional reactivity; or self-harming behaviors. If you are seeking non-judgmental care focused on building self-esteem and improving emotional regulation, you are in the right place! I have experience working specifically with young adults aged 18-35, the LGBTQ+ community, and those diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder or PTSD. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher University, which has equipped me to provide compassionate and effective support tailored to your needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach focuses on identifying internalized core beliefs that lead to shame or fear. Once identified, we will utilize a mix of CBT, DBT and other dynamic approaches (inner-child work, reparenting, etc.), to challenge these thoughts and move towards building a more conscious way of responding to yourself, others and the world around you. The practice will send you an email to complete intake via Simple Practice. The Intake form must be filled out completely prior to your appointment and a credit card must be provided as per the practice’s cancellation policy (cancellations must be made before 24 hours of the appointment). Also, there are no psychiatrists or other providers who prescribe medications at this practice.

I believe strongly in working collaboratively to delve into the root causes of these patterns and helping to make long-lasting changes in your life.
