Kristen Jopes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2020. Kristen has experience working with patients at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care for mental health, substance use, and disordered eating behaviors. She has training and professional interest in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Problem-Centered approach, and Crisis Intervention. Kristen prefers to use a client-centered approach while meeting the individual where you are at. She believes you are the best narrator of your story, and she is along to help guide you throughout your journey. Kristen enjoys assisting her clients in developing new coping skills and working to apply them in their daily lives. Taking the role as a therapist is an honor as you are letting Kristen into your life at what might be your most vulnerable time. She strives to create a safe and supportive environment for her clients to support you as you engage in your therapy journey and self-growth.
