In my role as a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), I work with people of all backgrounds, with a particular focus on young adults and adults. I help them through challenges in school, work, and relationships, deepen their understanding of themselves, and work toward meaningful transformation. The patients I see may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about their next steps. They may be navigating a transition, struggling with self-doubt, or finding that familiar ways of coping no longer serve them. They want to feel heard and understood while developing skills and solutions that help them feel more confident and capable in daily life. You don’t need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. Whether you have a specific concern or simply know that something needs to change, I offer a supportive partnership where we can make sense of what you are experiencing and find a way forward that fits your needs and values. I welcome the opportunity to work with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not accepting Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. Life is messy, challenging, and unpredictable. Growing up with immigrant parents and facing parenthood, divorce, career moves, and major relocations have deepened my appreciation for the uncertainty and possibility that come with change. These experiences have taught me that many of us carry fears, questions, and painful experiences, and that support can make a difference. With 20 years in business before becoming a counselor, I know the pressures of professional life, from dealing with relationships with colleagues and supervisors to recognizing strengths and defining goals. I also know what it means to start over and move forward without having all the answers. Professional perspective, life experience, and clinical training all inform my work, along with respect for the many paths people take.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My own life experiences strengthened my appreciation for how difficult adjustments can be, so I’m eager to hear your story and understand what matters to you. Drawing on my rehabilitation counseling training, I consider the whole person and how their experiences, relationships, health, and environment shape their well-being. Together, we identify strengths, clarify goals, and develop manageable steps toward change. My style combines listening and reflection with practical problem-solving, drawing on solution-focused techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness to help you recognize patterns, develop coping skills, and try new things. We work at a pace that respects your needs while keeping your goals in view. This person-centered, collaborative, and solution-focused approach helps you achieve healing by managing stress and anxiety, building self-esteem, and navigating relationships and life transitions.
