I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor because I’ve always been spellbound by the resilience of the human spirit. If you’re working through a challenge/setback together, we can reach your goals My approach I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns. This approach gives you tools to be more in control of your emotions and behaviors. I individualize each approach to include practices like mindfulness and medication as needed. Your goals, concerns, and progress are my primary emphasis. Together, we’ll identify challenges and work on strategies to help you gain confidence. Clear, open communication and support with a non-judgmental environment are given. Active listening provides opportunities to reflect on your experiences with you as an empathetic partner. Therapy is a partnership. Together, we’ll identify and set goals that matter to you, like improving relationships, building self-esteem, or another personal objective. As we work together, and evolve as you gain new insights. We can adapt our plan at any time to ensure it’s always meaningful and relevant to you. Providing you with support and tools you need to continue to move closer to where you want to be.
