Getting to know Krystal Whipple

Hi! I’m Krystal, and I’m here to support you on your journey of change. I graduated with a bachelor's in social work from BYU-Idaho and a master’s in social work with a focus on Child Welfare from ASU. I’ve trained and developed psychotherapists in Nevada and am experienced in various therapeutic techniques, including play therapy, DBT, CBT, Grief and person-centered approaches. Life can be tough, and it’s even harder to navigate it alone. The work we’ll do together may feel uncomfortable at times, but I’m here to guide you through the challenges and celebrate the victories. Let’s embark on this journey together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe therapy should be a space that’s just for you, so I tailor each session to fit your unique needs. I work with adults, adolescents, and children, specializing in a range of concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, and life transitions. My eclectic approach ensures that we find what works best for you. Together, we’ll create a supportive environment where you can grow and heal.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once you book your appointment, you’ll receive an email from Headway with an intake packet and payment information. I’ll also send you a text to confirm that the email has been sent. During our appointment, we’ll discuss the areas you’d like to focus on, and you’ll have the chance to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. I aim to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable and secure. From there, we’ll work together in our sessions to turn your goals into reality!
