“In my opinion and experience, Krystie is a very good therapist. She listens (open minded), helps you to problem solve (solution oriented) and learn about your issues (educates), empowers you to be a better version of you (challenges you), and does so all in being real and with a great sense of humor. I always would get so nervous before therapy sessions, but not with her. It's so nice not to have to "worry" about what I'm going to or not going to say (very comforting).”

Getting to know Krystie N Wilson

Hello, I’m Krystie, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by their thoughts, uncertain in their decision-making, or unfulfilled in their relationships, careers, or personal lives. Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of negative thinking, emotional distress, or past experiences that continue to impact their present functioning. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. Together, we will explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and develop practical, skills-based strategies to help you manage symptoms, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and collaborative space where clients can address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related experiences, self-esteem challenges, and life transitions. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but it is a meaningful step toward growth and healing. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions so you can reengage with life in a way that feels fulfilling and aligned with your values.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Healing is a journey! I typically work with clients who experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. Unpacking your concerns can be challenging, but not impossible. Through consistency and openness, my clients can achieve their therapeutic goals and feel confident to make the best decisions for themselves, My ultimate hope is for you to make effective decisions and create healthy boundaries so that you feel the freedom that comes with healing.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
