I work with couples and those who are dating, specializing in porn addiction, infidelity, building trust, intimacy, communication, and conflict resolution. I use Prepare-Enriched, the Gottman Method, and symbols for relationship enrichment, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR to help my clients make progress and start feeling better. My approach My approach to therapy is always person-centered. I help clients discover their hidden strengths to overcome obstacles. I use Solution-Focused Therapy, the Bible if clients are open to it, CBT, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients heal, assess their strengths, and empower them to solve their problems. My focus I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for couples preparing to get married and those dealing with infidelity and porn addiction. I work to help my clients navigate these transition periods and build skills that allow them to feel better about themselves, build trust, and restore their relationships so they can create deeper connections with their partners. My communication style My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment. My journey to therapy I have been doing the work of God for over 30 years and realized that one big issue humanity faces is relationships. However, I was not adequately equipped to provide help, so I went to school to study counseling to be better equipped to help people who were hurting. I earned my PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Liberty University to deepen my knowledge and skills in this field.
